How much does it cost to stay at the YWCA?

Single rooms are €225 per week.

Twin rooms are €200 per person, per week, and are only available to relatives or people travelling together.

Due to the reduced number of guests, the minimum stay requirement is 14 days (2 weeks).

Are meals included in the room rate?

Due to current limitations, we will not offer meals this semester.

Instead, guests will have access to kitchenettes, with allocated refrigerator space and a small storage area for extra food and snacks they purchase themselves. Free tea and coffee are always available. Guests also have access to a microwave, toaster and kettle. Supervised time in the main kitchen can also be provided.

Can I do laundry while I’m there?

Of course! We have two large washing machines and two large dryers for guest use in our laundry. Each wash and dry costs €3. We provide free laundry detergent.

Is there wifi at the YWCA?

Yes. Free internet is available throughout our facility. When you arrive, just ask reception for the password to connect.

Will I be sharing a room?

If you’re staying in a twin room, you can only share with a relative or a friend whom you’re travelling with.

IS THE YWCA TAKING COVID-19 MEASURES?

Yes! In compliance with government guidelines, we have updated our safety statement and incorporated new guidelines for cleaning and use of common areas. Guests are still expected to adhere to these guidelines and to practice proper social distance and hygiene protocols within the residence.

Who is responsible for cleaning?

We have a cleaning team who keep our common areas sparkling! Guests are responsible for keeping their rooms tidy and clean.

What is the typical guests profile?

The YWCA Residence offers a home from home for a wide variety of people including students, people doing internships, or visitors to Dublin City. Our guests come and all over the world, including Ireland! Please note that we do not provide accommodation for individuals under 18 years of age.

Can I come and go as I please?

Absolutely. Guests are given a fob to access the building and can come and go as they please.
